haha! So true... The inverse is just as bad, seeing a cool bird and having NOWHERE to pull over!

That looks a lot like the road to Bitterness Wilderness Area in Montana. A place to chase McCown's longspurs. Just don't attempt it if it even looks like it might rain.

I spend a lot of time on roads like this in western South Dakota, and it would be a mistake to assume that they are not birdy. Lots of great birds to see, here and most everywhere!
