Welcome to another edition of the Bill of the Birds Caption Contest. You know the rules: share your clever caption via the comments section on this blog post, and we'll choose a winner. The winner of this caption contest gets a $25 gift certificate to the Bird Watcher's Digest online store.

The judges (Randy, Paula, Simon, and I—we voted Cara off the island) will choose a winner on Saturday morning, June 6.

Good luck, and may the funniest birder win!

The sign says there's a bird up there but I just can't find it.

The directions where supposed to say to watch for the sign. The misprint cost Chuck hours.

I like these new pointers, it's easier than following directions.

Signing is so much easier than birding.

Birding with Buster was such a drag. At every arrow he'd stop and try to find what bird it was pointing at.

Unfortunately, Bill fell for that old birder prank and quickly found himself staring directly into the blazing sun.

Birders over 50 like the new metal signs for locating birds, but trip leaders find them harder to carry than laser pointers.

My husband came up with this: Is this a road sign or a Bill "bored"

Tired of his constant requests to stop and pull over so he could get a better look at some bird, the driver finally kicked Mr. Dunne off the bus and told him to follow the signs and find his own @#%&!! way back to Cape May.

Although quite common along roadways, a close view of the brightly colored Turnus vulgaris is always a treat.

Too funny! Here's my shot: This morning's prairie bird walk will not be guided; instead signs will simply point to the birds.

Adding insult to injury, Bill's old eyes needed optical enhancement to discern the signs of his age-related detumescence.
