I took dozens of photos of...Dude, I can so relate! I took dozens of photos of a smaller falcon perched in a tree in my neighborhood convinced it was a merlin. When I downloaded them and looked at them on a computer screen rather than a camera screen, it was a male peregrine.<br /><br />Wasn't prepared for a peregrine in a tree.
