The more field experience a photographer has under their belt, the better photos they'll get because<BR>a- you know where to find them<BR>b- you're familiar with their behavior & habits <BR>c-you will notice things with a camera that you didn't see with binoculars or a scope because when you're focused on that one bird, tunnel vision tends to set in.. photography has enhanced my enjoyment & appreciation of birds in so many ways.
