Poem for a Friday

O to be on the western range
sitting cross-legged inside
a ring of tepee stones
hearing the echoes
of ancient days
wafting over
the sunset
sage.

Really nice! Where was that image taken?

I took that shot at sunset along the Missouri River in Montana, just near where Lewis & Clark had camped on their expedition. Clearly it was a well-placed campsite since there were so many tepee circles nearby.

Nice to see a poem that gets to the point. 8-)

That's better than a poem that beats around the bush.

Nice BT.
But don't leave out the peace pipe loaded with interesting materials.
